To our valued clients,

Thank you for your patience and loyalty as we have navigated COVID-19. Although the Government of Alberta and Edmonton City Council have lifted the face mask mandate, Cornerstone staff will continue to wear masks in common areas. We would also ask that you do not come to our office if you are experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Due to the vulnerable populations we serve, we ask that you, our clients and visitors, continue to wear a face mask in our building including our waiting room, hallways, and bathrooms. If you do not have a mask with you, our receptionists will be happy to provide one for you. Once you are in our counselling offices, you and your counsellor can discuss if you would like to wear masks during sessions. Please note that in session, physical distancing can be maintained and sanitization takes place after each visitor.

If you are currently enjoying telephone or online counselling sessions or if you wish to begin counselling in this format, you may do so. All of our counsellors are prepared to see clients online.

We know that everyone is tired of the additional safety measures, but we want to make sure our office is safe for those with health concerns. Please know that your physical and mental wellbeing is our top priority. We are eager to see you again, and we want to help you find your way to wellness.

Sincerely,

Sheila Stauffer
Executive Director of Cornerstone Counselling
