Overview of Cornerstone's Services
A Cornerstone professional listens to your issues, inquires into underlying causes, and helps find a path to resolution and healing.
Cornerstone offers counselling for:
and assessments of
- career and executive leadership,
- cognitive/learning ability,
- emotional/behavioural stability.
When you call our office, one of our intake workers will ask you a few questions to determine which counsellor will be the best match for your individual needs. Intake workers are trained to listen to your story with compassion and understanding. They respect your privacy and will only share your information with the staff members who need to know, such as your counsellor. During your first call to us, the intake worker will also explain a few of our policies and discuss your fee.
Upon arriving for your first appointment, the receptionist will ask you to fill out a few forms and receive payment for your appointment. Your counsellor will come out to meet you and show you to their office. Once inside the office, your counsellor will listen to your issues, inquire into underlying causes, and help you find a path to resolution and healing. The number of sessions required to help you will be dependent upon your issues and what the counsellor feels is the best treatment plan for you.

Personal problems and work stress can result in increased absenteeism, lower productivity and work place conflicts. We can offer help that will get struggling employees back on track. This results in a more stable workforce and increased productivity on the job. We can also offer proactive programming to preserve employees’ wellness such as Lunch and Learns to educate them on workplace issues. Call our office to talk about setting up an EFAP for your company.
